Amity High School[edit]

Nothing on the page suggests this school is notable. Edward 23:55, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)

• Keep. Nothing on this page suggests this school is not notable. Dr Zen 01:11, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
• Comment. Does the school sink because the architect forgot to allow for the weight of the books? By my calculations, 1.25 inches per year for fifty years is over ten feet or one full story. If the original ground floor of the school is now completely underground, that would be notable, but I don't believe it. However, this story does indicate that the school has big-time problems with mold. No vote yet. Dpbsmith (talk) 01:15, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
• Delete: I would like to see a sinking high school, as that would be notable. However, while some people say that we have to prove a negative (must prove that something is not notable, just as one would presumably prove that one is not a wife beater), I think an article must prove that its subject is notable. If the Pisa-like quality is verified, it could be kept. Otherwise, delete as just another school. Geogre 03:48, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
• High schools? We don't need no seenking high schools!
• Donut shops are fantastic. They are all very historically significant and play a large roll in peoples lifes. I think we should have an articel on every donut shop in the world if someone will right them.
• Keep it. —RaD Man (talk) 03:52, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)

• Merge into Woodbridge, Connecticut in suitably GFDL-friendly manner, rewriting the mold sentence and providing a link to the article, remove the nonsense about it sinking, and delete. Dpbsmith (talk) 13:43, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)

• Vanity page, there are schools all over the USA. We don't need every one of them catalogued.
