Hello My Future Girlfriend[edit]

  • Keep - Kid Blount is just as well known as many of the entries on the internet phenomenon page, such Bananaphone or All your base and much more well known than many of them, such as Thundercats outtakes or Tai Mai Shu which are reletively obscure in comparison. Considering that it has been around for such a long time and is still popular, I think it deserves a space on the Internet phenomenon page and its own article. When one hears the audio clip, it becomes apparent this isn't a "lonely-hart" website. Also, compare 40,500 hits on google for "Hello My Future Girlfriend" in comparison to 395 for "Thundercats Outtakes", 7,130 for "Bananaphone".

In fact, after some quick research, I have found out that "Hello My Future Girlfriend" gets more google hits than anything else on the internet phenomenon page, by several thousand hits, except for "All Your Base are belong to us", "Group X", and "Yatta". The only other thing that comes even close is dancing baby at about 32,000 hits.

I have never heard of "All Your Base are belong to us", "Group X", or "Yatta", either. It looked just like some young kid putting his own page into Wikipedia to me. So that is why I thought it should be deleted. I guess this is what comes of being over 50 yrs of age. KeyStroke 19:53, 2004 Oct 14 (UTC)

OK - I went to the site. I still don't see what makes it notable. One page that only contains what was copied to this article, which is still only a "lonley-harts" plea by a nerdish looking young male who (appearantly) has more computing talent than interpersonal relationship abilities. It's notable because it's extremely funny and a quite frankly a little bit creepy. Anyway, it was very well known when it first surfaced in 1999 and most people thought it was extremely funny, and that's good enough for me.PiccoloNamek 00:59, Oct 15, 2004 (UTC)
