Hi, regarding your post on the pump -- we have already done a lot of optimization, but some queries like the watchlist are still slow, and others have been turned off (stuff like Special:Wantedpages) and are generated manually ever so often. I suspect that a lot of the slowness has to do with missing indices, but have not been able to investigate further. You may want to take a look at the code yourself.
