Pedro Lopez[edit]

Hi, You put a cleanup notice on ol' Pedro Lopez. What's wrong with the article? Cheers, Rich Farmbrough 23:14, 7 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Big Five (orchestras)[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! My question is similar to Rich's -- you put a cleanup notice on Big Five (orchestras), but didn't mention your concerns about the article. If you get a chance, could you leave a note at Talk:Big Five (orchestras) describing what you'd like to see cleaned up? --Arcadian 13:14, 11 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Theme Park World[edit]

Hi, I noticed you looked at my article, did you change anything by any chance ? --User:H Cornellier 10:32, 27 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Buffy Book[edit]

Hiya I noticed you added a cleanup note to my article:

Apocalypse Memories (Buffy novel) specifically what needs to be done, because I have been making lots of articles like this for the Buffyverse books, and believed them to be at a high enough standard, I'm guessing you think its too short, but surely an encyclopedia should be an overview, and therefore a brief synopsis of the book should be adequate, especially when it appears with, a picture, trivia, continuity (which I think is important because it's not really covered very well eslsewhere on the web), and link to other Buffverse books? Let me know. Thanks -- Paxomen 17:09, 7 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Request for edit summary[edit]

Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 13% for major edits and 17% for minor edits. (Based on the last 150 major and 150 minor edits in the article namespace.)

This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear impolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 10:30, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WinDiff[edit]

This article has been flagged POV before, but we edited it to the point where we felt we could remove the tag. If there are still problems, detail them on the talk page, because otherwise the POV tag will get removed. Thanks! Shinobu 11:36, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

POV removed :)
just thought, it was wierd having the criticism/appraisal comment on the first paragraph

Yes. But it is (or at least it was, before my last edit) the only paragraph, and the c/a isn't really enough to justify a separate section. As for POV... well I think that since both are rooted in actual fact, it's okay.

I've copied the above comments to talk:WinDiff.

Oh, and here's a little tip: you can sign comments on talk pages using ~~~~. That way it's easier for people to figure out who they're talking to :-) Shinobu 11:18, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lollipop Lust Kill[edit]

AfD Nomination: Lollipop Lust Kill[edit]

I've nominated the article Lollipop Lust Kill for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Lollipop Lust Kill satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lollipop Lust Kill. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of Lollipop Lust Kill during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. mke (tabloid)[edit]

You made an edit asking for references on the mke article. What references are needed? The article (admittedly brief) is a description of the tabloid and its position in Milwaukee's marketing/media space.--Orange Mike 13:36, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your Nainital Templates[edit]

Hi, I just created the article 5 minutes ago. I am still working on it. Please give me some time before you put in the templates. I know about Wiki format etc. Sanjay Tiwari 04:01, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you take out the html anchor in the article? If you don't understand what it is about, please ask on the talk page before deleting! Sanjay Tiwari 04:37, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The name of the article is Literary references to Nainital. I have since fixed the problem. Sorry, I may have sounded impatient above, but I got a little frazzled. Things are back on track now. Sanjay Tiwari 04:56, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation[edit]

Thank you for your work on Matsuzaka. Unfortunately, disambiguation pages do not follow the same stylistic rules as normal pages. In particular,

  • there should be only one live link per entry.

Please see the disambiguation style guide for more information. If you have any questions not answered there, drop me a note or try the help desk. I hope you will go ahead and bring Matsuzaka into line with the guidelines, but if you don't have a chance to get to it, or you're not clear on what to do, I'm sure someone else will. I saw that you had placed {{db-bio}} on the above article, while on speedy patrol. Please note that the article does assert notability, which is all that is required to avoid speedy deletion; if you still believe this article should be deleted, you should consider alternative tags such as {{prod}} in order to provide better review than is possible through the speedy process. -- Daveydweeb (chat/review!) 06:27, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there![edit]

Would you please not turn all quotes into c quotes. In some circumstances, where the quotation is a major feature of the article, then they are effective. But if the quote is merely introduced to support a point, or if, in the case of Leonardo da Vinci, there are a whole string of quotes one after the other, then it is inappropriate, and in the case of Leonardo da Vinci, it looked terrible. (Apart from being an art historian, I've also worked in layout design, and I design every article i work on very carefully). just to keep you happy, I've left the quotes around Vasari, because it's the most significant quotation there. OK! Take a look at Leonardo da Vinci - scientist and inventor. --Amandajm 10:43, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spam in ShockValue[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on ShockValue, by 12.34.246.39 (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because ShockValue is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting ShockValue, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 12:12, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Firebrand (UK band)[edit]

A tag has been placed on Firebrand (UK band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Corvus cornix 23:47, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mary Morello[edit]

Hi, you requested sources for the article Mary Morello. I have researched and sourced it with the exception of the weasel words on nemesis which I have tagged and explained in the discussion page. Would you have a look? Webhat (talk) 16:06, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article James Skinner (writer), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of Marvel Universe Online[edit]

I have nominated Marvel Universe Online, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Marvel Universe Online. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Proposed deletion of Elizabeth collar[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Elizabeth collar, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Filll (talk | wpc) 22:27, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Sin-man! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 941 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
