Portland Student Activists[edit]

Too vague article topic for encyclopedia. Mikkalai 06:26, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)

  • This should really be Portland Student Activism. I suspect it was created as a way of creating a reference to Zoe Trope. Neutral. --Ianb 07:14, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Weak delete: It should probably be a section of Portland, Oregon and its #Politics section. Student activists are all involved in these things, generally. Portland is a more lefty town than most, but I can't see its warranting a separate article. Who will search it without knowing all of this material in advance? Geogre 12:50, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • If the content is not compelling enough then keep it as a redirect. Mark Richards 19:37, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Another marginal delete. It's arguable that Portland's student activist scene is notable enough for a serious article to be written, but this definitely isn't it, and it's obscure enough that it's not going to get any better. Let's not set any precedents here, though -- a similar article on, say, Berkeley would be a definite keeper. RadicalSubversiv E 06:41, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Weak delete. PDX is a political town, & an article about that would be good. This isn't it, though. Wile E. Heresiarch 14:22, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)
