Tlahtopil[edit]

From náuatl tlahtoa and -pil, "word or speech" and the diminutive suffix. In a (progressively) less pompous way, could be Kurzwort or Little Talk, Palabreja, Palabrería. This alias has been with Mario Antonio Calderón (Guadalajara, México, 1974) since his 1998 depression, so it is now like an Internet alter ego and he doesn't plan to get rid of it soon.

Before anybody asks: yes, I'm married; yes, I've children; no, I don't want to make new cyber relationships... Of any kind.

For those who pay lots of attention to (s)nobility titles, Mario Antonio Calderón is egressed of Hispanic-American Literature (now calls Hispanic Language and Literature), by University_of_Guadalajara (México), and has diplomas on Center-Western-México Regional Literature and on Journalism, and has some other studies on written word, for literary, didactic and journalistic purposes. Is member of National_Geographic_Society (USA) and also of Pentathlón_Deportivo_Militarizado_Universitario (PDMU, Mx), graded as Second Officer (equiparable to Second Captain); his name was included in the Mexican Directory of Creative Artists since 1996 and has articles and essays in various national and international magazines.

Speaks, reads and understands English quite well, aside Spanish (native language), and has some comprehension of other romance languages, and a minor one of German and Náuatl (or Náhuatl or Nahuatl), as can be seen.

From 2001 to 2008 wored for the Catholic Church, first in Semanario_Arquidiocesano journal, later in Ediciones_Católicas_de_Guadalajara, as editor, proofreder, assessor and designer, and since 2009 in María_†_Visión_México as copy, script writer and web editor.
