Re : Malay wikipedia[edit]

Hello Kowey, and thank you for your message. I'm afraid my Bahasa Melayu is terrible because I have been receiving most of my education in Singapore (which is English-based). I did receive a 2 year Malay language course so I can read some of the language, but then I still need the kamus and yet still produce disjointed grammar. ;-)

If you need me for any EN Malaysia-Related articles or projects in Wikipedia though, please feel free to drop another message at my talk page. I'll be more than happy to take a look at them and contribute.

Again, thanks and have a good day! :-)

Images[edit]

Hai Kowey,
The picture is just a test. I have a whole lot of other pictures, but not sure to release it under what. CC-2 seem interesting, but I'm not clear on it yet. Also naming convention is still not firm up in common wiki. I prefer to release the picture under local name (Bahasa Melayu) since it is easier, (I do not have to research the correct conventional name for it.) Anyway, I be off until Feb soon, so I may not do much until then.. Regards Yosri 10:14, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)

wikipedia questions[edit]

Hi Kowey. I am doing a small research project on Wikipedia and have a couple questions about your contribution to Hidden Markov models on my discussion page. If you have time, I'd really appreciated if you could send me answers. Great articles and thanks! --Caromk 01:42, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)

ISO 639-3[edit]

Hi Kowey, maybe you remember me from meta:Language_codes. Since SIL is now ISO 639-3 chances are better for transition to 3-letter codes. I started List of ISO 639-1 codes, which could serve as a transition table one day. Maybe help expanding the list, and have a look at Category:ISO 639 with the subcat for 639-redirects. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
