Nightshift was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was to delete.

Another apparently lost/orphaned VfD nom, as it doesn't appear to have ever been posted to the main page (based on lack of votes, and not being on "old"). Tagged November 22. Procedural/Delete--cover band. Niteowlneils 01:17, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete, not even a big chance of them becoming notable anymore. --fvw* 01:31, 2004 Nov 25 (UTC)
  • The Commodores' song "Nightshift" is still more than prominent enough a generation later (and is a catalogue of references to notable artists to boot) to merit an article. This has nothing to do with that song. The concept of a night shift, as in shift work, would be expandible, too. Delete this cover band, not notable and not related to either. • Delete: A cover band. Even a famous cover band is probably not worthy of inclusion (exceptions like Beatlemania exist). Geogre 05:17, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Non-notable cover band. Only a cover band as famous as, say, Dread Zeppelin should make the cut. Gamaliel 04:52, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)

This page is now preserved as an archive of the debate and, like other '/delete' pages is no longer 'live'. Subsequent comments on the issue, the deletion or on the decision-making process should be placed on the relevant 'live' pages. Please do not edit this page.
