Talk:Timesharing

When I started entering this page I had not seen the Time-sharing entry. Perhaps the historical viewpoint of this page, from the 1970's, could be merged in.

Also, is there a utility which recognizes synonyms. The people who created the articles with the Timesharing link apparently didn't know about the Time-sharing link.

I propose to revisit the links which have the Timesharing name, and disambiguate them to the technology link Time-sharing or to a History of Computing - Time-sharing era link. This will give historically-minded readers a sense of what products were available when (including economic factors) versus a pure technology implementation (which is only half the story)
