These listings are now horribly split between Category:States of Mexico and Category:Mexican states. Tobias, do you plan on finishing what you started? Hajor 05:40, 4 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Did not see this until now. I think I did everything right and moved all states in this cat. But you moved the municipalites in here? I would suggest to move them to Category:Municipalities of Mexico.

I see there is also Category:Municipalities in Mexico. I would suggest using the "Entities of ..."-format like for many other Category:Subdivisions by country and Category:Municipalities. Tobias Conradi (Talk) 16:46, 3 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Tobias, you say you want to move the lists of municipalities out of Category:States of Mexico into Category:Municipalities of Mexico. I'd honestly rather you didn't -- I'd rather have one cat with 60-odd items in it than two with 30 each, and the lists of municips. by state go quite well logically with the states -- but it's not something I'm going to start a holy war over. Perhaps posting a note on Talk:States of Mexico would help you gauge the opinions of the Mexico-intense editing community? Cheers, Hajor 02:33, 24 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • There are lots of things that can be arranged by states, cites of Durange, towns of durango, rivers of durango. But what I see in general is that a cat "states of country" only has the states, and lists of states etc.
  • Category:Municipalities in Mexico exists anyway. Tobias Conradi (Talk) 22:09, 24 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
