  • Introduction needs to discuss the trend in music better a paragraph summing up the trends and genres during 1998 would be good to start, then a paragraph discussing the basic success of mainstream acts with a mention of some popular albums
  • Include Success of Lighthouse Family during the year
  • Include More detail on music from Titanic, especially the success of the album - sales and more importantly impact
  • Include any other successful film songs/soundtracks, if possible, omit "The Success Of Titanic" part of the section title
  • Include Success of Jane McDonald; genre, later career
  • Include More detail on the success of boybands throghout the year so Girl Group & Boy Bands can be split into 2 separate sections
  • Include More detail on the success of the All Saints
  • Include More detail on Geri Halliwell's departure and its impact (see Spice Girls)
  • Include more detail, if possible, on the success of Melanie B and Melanie C, put Solo Spices as a separate section
  • Include More detail on people in the American Acts section (add more if possible) so we can split into American Acts who were more successful in the US and American Acts who were more successful in the UK; US chart positions on these acts would be very helpful if someone could provide them so success can be weighed, sales figures would be EXTREMELY helpeful
  • Include More detail on the rock bands that topped the albums chart all listed in the Popular Genres section
  • Include More detail on the success of Billie Piper
  • Include More detail on the Greatest Hits albums released, especially in the case of Phil Collins and U2
  • Include Sales for #1 albums & Cumulative chart for both albums and singles (if sources could be provided for these figures, it would be greatly appreciated)
  • Include The success of the the Beautiful South
  • Include More detail on the songs in the Covers & Reworkings section, if any others can be added, it would be appreciated, if the section still seems to be too short, merge separate songs into other sections
  • Include success of Usher and emphasise his "disappearance" from 1998 - 2004 to a certain extent
  • More detail on success of Cleopatra
  • Include Success of Steps and Tina Cousins during the year
  • Include non-mainstream acts into the article and club hits, production team songs also
