Eli Siegel
[edit]Can you explain what you ment by your edit summary, "Being born in Latvia does not make one latvian"? -You deleted the "Latvian-American" category from someone (Eli Siegel) who was born in Latvia. Are there no such thing as Latvian Jews? Are Jews who live in Latvia not Latvian? Thanks, -Willmcw 22:08, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
- Latvian is ethnicity, like jew is ethnicity (not citizenship or smth. like that), one can not be at the same time latvian and jew. And Eli Siegel lived in Latvia only when he was an infant. AlV 22:31, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
ancient egyptians
[edit]i restored your link to a eurocentrist website at the Controversy_over_race_of_Ancient_Egyptians page. i think it is a valid link, though the site does say some things bordering on racism. if you feel strongly about the matter i'd encourage you to edit the page. it is currently dominated by afrocentrism (the page originated as a cut-and-paste from the afrocentrism page) and needs to move to a more NPOV -71.112.11.220 04:17, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
Stop putting the NPOV-violating, racist link into this article. It violates several Wikipedia policies. DreamGuy 09:58, 7 November 2005 (UTC)
- Provide list of criterias, to tell that the site is racist. I'm not considering this site to be racist, this site (www.white-history.com) collects information on influence of white race to history, and facts can not be racist. As i sad in article talk page, you are free to provide pro-afrocentrist or 'neutral' links on subject, but i will not, because im my option afrocentrism -> black egypt is just an theory created with only purpose to provide some source of pride to negroid people.
