  • Is this encyclopedic? — Timwi 21:11, 28 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • "Tihs" isn't even close. Delete, maybe even speedy delete. Utterly non-encyclopedic. - Lucky 6.9 21:31, 28 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • I'm not really familiar with teh phrase, but its only saving grace may be that it's similar in concept to All your base are belong to us (i.e., obscure-hacker-reference-meets-pop-culture). However, the entry's content right now is very thin; no interesting background, what it refers to, how it originated, how widespread its use is, examples, etc. --Ds13 21:40, 2004 Apr 28 (UTC)
  • Delete unless somebody gives it context and content. RickK 22:15, 28 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. "Teh" is not a word in standard English. 66.245.97.44 23:22, 28 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, this is not encyclopedic at all. This makes WikiPedia look like Urban Dictionary. Knut 23:26, 28 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, I don't believe it. Googling on "tstf" in Groups and scanning the first hundred or so entries yields nothing relevant; googling on "tstf" on the Web, even less. If it were a common "hacker greeting" I believe it would show up in the newsgroups e.g. in peoples' sigs. Dpbsmith 01:54, 29 Apr 2004 (UTC) P. S. Googling on "to shape teh future" on the Web does yield 16 hits, so the poster probably didn't make it up, but it is too feeble a meme to be encyclopedic. Dpbsmith 01:54, 29 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Actually it looks more like a subtle advert to me, but delete either way. Andrewa 02:57, 29 Apr 2004 (UTC)

    • Comparables: If it deserves to live, it's clearly a weak entry in the same category as: pwned, w00t, All your base, B1FF, JeffK, etc.
    • Con (delete): Much 1337 searching later and I still can't find out what the heck this refers to. Famous historical typo? Movie? Video game?
    • Pro for "teh future": Googling for simply "teh future" turns up 1,900 or so hits. Many can be dismissed as obvious misspellings. But if you take the time to look in context, there's a clear trend of many people repeatedly using the phrase teh future intentionally. If we were voting on keeping a page called "teh future", I would be inclined to let it live on, as a stub until it could be substantiated by those in the know.
    • Pro for moving the phrase into Leet: the word teh is already described there as being sometimes used for emphasis, so maybe this whole TSTF thing just serves as a solid example.
  • Delete and move the concept into a Leet-speak example. --Ds13 03:49, 2004 Apr 29 (UTC)
  • Delete. Only serves as a redirect to other presumably hacker pages. Borderline vanity. Alcarillo 07:04, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • I spend some time at E2 and it's fairly common in the chatbox there. My guess is any regular chatters in the crowd will know it. Common catchphrase, non-encyclopedic. Delete. Denni 05:24, 2004 May 2 (UTC)
