It's bad enough that people think we need schoolcruft, but this goes over the line. RickK 23:09, Oct 31, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete, what's next? Wiki articles for each and every high school student? --Nought 23:20, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, not notable and likely not even verifiable. Perhaps we need a rule that if you can't use wiki-formatting, it's a speedy delete candidate too, reading that is painful. Shane King 23:33, Oct 31, 2004 (UTC)
  • I have Merged-and-prepared-for-Redirect to Conroe, Texas. Let the people who know and care about Conroe, Texas and its schools sort it out. (If nobody reads the Rambot article, then there's no harm in having it contain a school description that nobody reads...) If that's not acceptable, my vote is Delete: vanity, and no potential to become encyclopedic. Nov 2004 (UTC)

    • Comment I think you should refrain from messing up the article while its up for a vote. People are not voting on a redirect, they are voting on an article and how are they to judge the article if your redirect is there now instead? --ShaunMacPherson 03:14, 2
      • By looking at the history, of course. Editing articles on VfD is not only OK, it's virtuous (provided the VfD notice isn't removed). If by any chance you're not aware of the article history feature and how it works, as a VfD participant it would be a good idea for you to familiarize yourself with it. VfD debates are not really about decisions to delete an article's content; the reason why we make a big deal about them and discuss them for five days is that they are decisions to delete an article's history. When an article is deleted, ordinary users can no longer view the history. [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 13:53, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: After what Dpbs did, no argument for keeping whatever. Geogre 01:56, 1 Nov 2004 (UTC)
NOTE: The edit, 19:26, 31 Oct 2004 Dpbsmith, consisting of the insertion of a section entitled "Academy of Science and Technology," is an exact copy of material that was solely authored by User:24.175.75.144 on 17:58, 31 Oct 2004 24.175.75.144 and originally was an article entitled Academy of Science and Technology.
