North Star[edit]
Hi James, your comments are accurate and I realize that a great deal of engineering took place at Canadair in all of their license-built aircraft. I have amended the passage on the Canadair CC-106 Yukon to read: "With an RCAF requirement for a replacement for its C-54GM North Star (an extensive redesign of the Douglas C-54 Skymaster, that among many changes, was powered by Merlin engines)..."
