What's with the first person plural voice ("we begin this inquiry")? Orthogonal 15:50, 7 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Possibly a copyvio? At a rate it should probably be merged with phonation and made into a redirect. Gwalla | Talk 16:55, 22 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Title[edit]

I don't like the article's title "Voice production" - any better suggestions? Djbb2 18:37, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes this should not be called phonation. You might as well call it phoning!!!

Page moved[edit]

I decided to move this page to the title "Voice organ" which I thought was more specific, scientific and appropriate. I'm working on improving this article - any help would be much appreciated! Djbb2 19:10, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that "voice organ" is an outdated term - as it is not really an organ per se. It serves a function, but not as other organs, brain, skin, pancreas etc. It is more of a collection of muscular tension patterns that vibrate air. Although this may have been solved by calling is "apparatus" —Preceding unsigned comment added by GBJorgenson (talkcontribs) 16:26, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
