Also, I could point you to many examples of other wikipedia articles where seiyu is used and noone is complaining. In an article where many "foreign" words are being used and are not wikified, I don't see any reason why reverting seiyu based on it being "esoteric" has any grounds. Yep, it was vandalism. Somebody changed his name and virtually every number in the article (years, numbers of seats in any given election, etc.) for yuks, and somebody else changed most of it back but seems to have missed the "Killer" bit.

Snowbelt debate

Lake effect snow: Hey, ya reverted me edit. I grew up in Ashtabula County, Ohio in the NE corner of OH and I assure you that we get a inordinate amount of snow. Mentor, Kirtland, Painesville, Eastlake, and places like that were what I meant. Ashtabula is also in the snow belt, but isn't the western edge of it. I used to live in Lake County, and had friends who lived in Euclid, and when the lake effect snow would come ashore, there would be a profound difference in the snowfall level across a sharp edge measured in a few blocks. One side would get two or three inches; the other would get the full dumping that the snow belt gets. Susan Davis 18:54, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

Bolger schooner question

This is completely Wikipedia unrelated, but do you have good shots of the interior and/or rigging of your Singlehanded Schooner? One of these days I'd like to put together a 20ish foot cabin schooner, and I'm always on the lookout for suitable designs to work from; the "singlehanded" part of that particular Bolger design is appealing, if the hull could be adapted to include a cabin, or the rig could be adapted to, say, a Stevenson's Vacationer hull. scot 21:31, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Erie PA Private Schools

You've used editorial guidance for articles about schools to judge a list of schools in an article about a city. WP: Schools doesn't directly pertain to this situation with the Erie, Pennsylvania article. I thought the listing added value, especially since finding the listings and correct names of the schools has not always been easy, but I could see where you might feel these are pedestrian data that might better be reserved for an individual Google search rather than a formal Wiki entry. But the record of names and types of schools in one town could be the first step towards additional research -- first there might be sorting of the schools into religious, charter, etc, then histories of the schools could be included. They're not notable, true, and WP:Schools does talk quite a bit about including the exceptional if the writer expects high marks for his/her page. All I know is that I've used numerous county histories written in the 1880s that included all local schools and a brief description of each, including headmaster, etc, and none were particularly notable. Such listings are helpful for writing genealogies and local histories. If you're interested in schools, you should consider restoring this section of the Erie page. It could eventually become a separate school-related page of some value.Pat 19:46, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
