I question the veracity of this statement and cannot help but wonder if this is a neologism. Only 1 Google hit for "Japanese fog" windshield - RedWordSmith 21:55, Dec 1, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete: "term given" by whom? It's referring to a type of plastic used in some Japanese cars that has been known to film up when heated, although I thought that was of German cars (from "Car Talk"). At any rate, a neologism. Geogre 01:06, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)
