It's not acceptable to hide the discussion, and some comments were only some minutes old. When you archive stuff, please just archive the older talk, not recent comments. And the size of the page required not archiving yet. Nico 00:42, 10 Dec 2003 (UTC)

It is no discussion. It's a flame, I don't see any place for flame on wikipedia. Sorry. Matusz 00:45, 10 Dec 2003 (UTC)

It is highly inappropriate to archive comments that are minutes old. Please do not do that. Daniel Quinlan 00:47, Dec 10, 2003 (UTC)

Do what you will, just think about what is really important here. See meta:Wikistress can help you. Matusz 00:51, 10 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Does anybody know why my watched pages keep geting dewatched? Matusz 22:57, 11 Dec 2003 (UTC)

When you edit a page, you must select "Watch this article" (each time, or you can have it as default choice, see "Preferences") -- Nico 23:00, 11 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Thanks! Matusz 23:03, 11 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Hi Matusz, are you still there? You were interested in mediation in the Silesia article, and we are apparently stuck in a blind alley. The current version of the article is obviously not accepted, and we do not have another version. I would be pleased, if you could give your feedback on Talk:Silesia (above the "Silesia (moderated) always has the consensus version" line). Or, if you want to e-mail me, you may do so: my address is mt AT mirko HYPHEN thiessen DOT de. A similar message goes to Space Cadet, Kpjas, Nico and Szopen. -- Baldhur 17:35, 17 Dec 2003 (UTC)

I've had to severely limit my wikipedia presence because of duties build-up that was a result of too much wikipedia presence (can I beat Rumsfeld?). As much as I would like to help, I will be unable until late february (estimated). Matusz 22:07, 18 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Press Release[edit]

I see you contributed to the creation of the press release. Might you be willing to follow these steps, and send off the press release? -- user:zanimum

Poland's betrayal by the Western Allies please vote to keep it. Cautious 20:55, 23 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Hi Matusz! I'm watching recent development of Polish-relating pages and I come to thinking that we really need article on aftermath of Potsdam for all the nations involved (expressing nations' feelings about it included). I think that in advent of German Expellees activism it would be desirable to balance their POV by providing overview article and interlink Potsdam aftermath, Expulsion of Germans after World War II, future Expulsion of Poles after World War II, Regained Territories and what else there is on the topic.

However, I'd like to know your opinion on it: is there a chance that it becomes a source of new problems (rv wars) instead of solving existing? -- Forseti 12:36, 24 Mar 2004 (UTC)

I really don't know. All I know it should be done properly, even with some war in the course. Unfortunately, I do not have courage enough to be part of the process. What is even worse, every time I come to wikipedia I feel more and more driven by some kind of gęba or even pupa (copyright by Witold Gombrowicz). Matusz 10:32, 25 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Hi Matusz - I've left some comment about the New Zealand place at Kurów, but I've toned down the comment considerable. See whether you think it's okay now or needs further editing. What you added to the Kurow article looks fine. Grutness...wha? 03:16, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Matusz! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 951 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
