Thanks for the help on vandal patrol. :-) I don't think we have to revert this guy in real-time anymore. I'll periodically revert all vandalisms so that I can get some other work done. --mav 10:23 Feb 8, 2003 (UTC)

Thanks for reverting my user page! olivier 11:46 Feb 8, 2003 (UTC)

No problem, OCD and Vicodin, for an extracted tooth, make clicking the links kinda fun... ;) Ducker

Man, you're fast! I barely have time to re-edit an entry before you've already restored it! What's your secret - do you have an editing script or something? (I wanna help!) -- Modemac

If you like you can continue - but I can revert a lot of entries all at once so I like to do them in large batches. The problem is that sometimes I revert other people who are reverting or they revet my revert (which results in the vandal's version bein the top one). But if you are having fun I'll step aside. :) --mav 12:25 Feb 8, 2003 (UTC)

Does your reverter allow you to do multiple versions back, since this childs "new" strategy seems to be doing a series of edits at once... ? Ducker
It reverts to the last edit made by a non-top edit user. The age of the text really isn't an issue. --mav
So does that mean if its: user1, user1, then user2, that it reverts to user2? Because, since I'm using the non-admin method of go to older page and edit-then-save, I'm assured of always getting the most recent "good" version.
Your way has fewer problems about whether or not you are doing the correct thing. My way is a lot faster. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Currently the 'rollback' feature isn't too bright - it rolls back the edits made by whoever is the user at the top edit. That means that if you reverted an article to an unvandalised version a split second before I hit rollback then I revert your edit and restore the vandal's work. --mav 12:38 Feb 8, 2003 (UTC)
I don't suppose you've got a tool that'll just wipe out everything from a single given user? That seems like it would be, maybe with a time framing option, fairly close to ideal for these sorts of situations. Anyway, the Vicodin side of the equation is starting to wear me down so I'll be dropping out in just a few minutes, but something tells me modemac is eager for the sport ;) Ducker
And when he gets tired, I'm next in line. Thanks for your help, Ducker. Tannin 13:00 Feb 8, 2003 (UTC)
Theoretically a developer could write a script (or even SQL query) to undo all the top edits of any user but I'm not aware of this ever being attempted. --mav

Ducker, Thanks for the clean-ups on the Hanno images. I'm a little backward on using images here, and also have not the keenest eye, so if the best images are not the ones currently on the page feel free to change them! -- Someone else 11:08 Feb 23, 2003 (UTC)

Thanks for helping revert the vandal on Girls Scouts of America. It felt good to know someone else was aware of the matter. Guppy 14:27, 25 Sep 2003 (UTC)
