j3b4 is the preferred non-anonymous username of Johana Eowyn Bearden, (me - so I can switch to first person).

I use this ID primarily because it is short, meaningful (to me) and eccentric enough to give me a high chance of getting to use it when I sign on to a new service. I have no idea how many places I've used it. I have yet to find it taken by someone else.

j3b4 represents my initials J.E.B. IV (with the '3' standing in for a capital E). The number 4 refers the fact that in my family I am the fourth person to have these initials.

I've never explained this before, I hope that by writing something so absolutely trivial I have not degraded the value of Wikipedia - something I consider to be a distillation of what is best about the internet.
