Talkback[edit]

Seeking a response on the proposal here. Thanks. AbsoluteWissen (talk) 13:03, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If I were interested, I had responded. --Hob Gadling (talk) 13:30, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Climate change[edit]

Why did you revert my request for a citation to a statement that all theories on nonanthropogenic climate change are false? BBeagle (talk) 16:57, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

New stuff goes to the bottom. Don't just insert it at a random place.
I wrote the reason in the edit summary: There is already a citation, at the end of the sentence. BTW, anthropogenic climate change has not been controversial in science for several decades. Only ideologically blinded, ignorant people disagree with it for self-serving reasons. Read Scientific consensus on climate change and Climate change denial. Also WP:FRINGE, WP:YWAB and WP:CHARLATANS. --Hob Gadling (talk) 19:30, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ah right: This is what article talk pages are for, not user talk pages. --Hob Gadling (talk) 19:32, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

May 2024[edit]

Information icon Hi Hob Gadling! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Félix An (talk) 09:22, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  1. This is about the article, not about me.
  2. Check [1] to find out whether your claim you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times is true. It is very obviously not.
You are not welcome on my talk page. Please refrain from editing it in the future. --Hob Gadling (talk) 10:27, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WWI myths[edit]

Hi, Hob. Thanks for your comment at Talk. I am away with spotty wifi and it’s hard to edit with only my phone, especially for formatted citations. Can you have a look at this and see if you can help out? Thanks. Mathglot (talk) 09:26, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Constant editing of page with highly biased wording[edit]

Please stop using your biased wording in your edits. It is disingenuous and misleading. Try using facts instead of using propaganda tactics. 76.105.251.124 (talk) 21:05, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's not my wording, and we are using facts. ID has always been bullshit and it stays bullshit. (I guess this is what you are talking about, because recently I had a collision with an aggressive and clueless IP only in an ID article).
Also, this is s aubject for an article talk page, not a uer talk page, newbie. --Hob Gadling (talk) 05:54, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Your opinions do not equal fact. It is quite obvious that Wiki is not interested in truth based upon your disingenuous and subjective editing. 76.105.251.124 (talk) 01:20, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You do not need to tell me the difference between fact and opinion. I know that difference far better than you do, rookie. Stop preaching disinformation on my page, you are not welcome here. --Hob Gadling (talk)

Message:[edit]

(Don't know how the this works so just gonna post here I guess...) Concerning the Rebecca Watson edit being undone due to "The minimum requirement for using this is that a reliable source mentions it". The citation is her own video where she mentions it herself in 2024! Meaning, she's still doing it to this day! How is that not a reliable source? Or is it that it only happened if someone writes an article/book about it?! Ridiculous! You can watch the video and see it happen. — Preceding unsigned comment added by X2ca (talkcontribs) 20:40, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No, she is not a reliable source. It is self-published, and it is WP:PRIMARY. Encyclopedias are not collections of things noticed by you. They are collections of things noticed by secondary sources.
English is written from left to right and from top to bottom. I moved your contribution and added the "unsigned" template. Please read WP:SIGN.
Also, this is not about me, it is about the article, and therefore does not belong here but on the article talk page. --Hob Gadling (talk) 04:53, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
