Hi, film critiques are by their nature subjective rather than objective. Since wikipedia articles are meant to be encyclopedic, that is objective, it's not clear to me that wikipedia is the right forum for film critiques. Dyl 16:52, Jan 6, 2005 (UTC)
- Film critiques can contain objective facts and analyses. I am not sure that only restating the plots of films make articles objective or encyclopedic. There should be something more than just mere spoiler warnings. I think, for example, there should be a historical context to the film in question and some informed comments about what it is that makes a film distinctive and relevant and what it is about them that people enjoy (or do not enjoy).
