Talk:Hydropenia

I don't understand the difference between "hydropenia" and "dehydration." Joyous 00:57, Mar 29, 2005 (UTC)
- Me, either. I've asked another editor who might be able to help us. WhatamIdoing (talk) 07:03, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- From what I can gather, it seems that dehydration is the act of removing losing water, whereas hydropenia is a state of the body such that the body does not have enough water in it. http://www.medilexicon.com/medicaldictionary.php?t=23371 maybe helps a bit. The third definition suggests that being dehydrated has been adopted to mean the same thing as being hyropenic, although that was not originally the case.
- If anyone else has any suggestions, let me know. If not, I might edit this article to something to the effect above and hopefully I will anger someone who knows better enough to come in and correct it :) AndyHuston (talk) 17:18, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
