Philanthropy section[edit]

I want to argue that, if your net worth is north of $100 000 million, a donation of $1 million is non-notable.--91.64.210.178 (talk) 22:36, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The value of the donation compared to the relative wealth of the individual is not the marker for notability. It may be relatively small potatoes to Ballmer, but to any of the charities listed (although I'm presuming you're referring to the Jewish National Fund,) $1 million is a pretty large sum. In my opinion the $50 Million mentioned is "small potatoes", the $1 million is simply non-noticeable. Microsoft stock fluctuates enough for him to make or lose this money within minutes, every single day.
