This page is kept as an historic record.

The result of the debate was to delete the article.

In its entirety, says "Brad Beacham is the Executive Director of Sigma Nu Fraternity." If this is a national role, it's worth a redirect to Sigma Nu. If not, it's not even worth that. Delete, expand, or merge. -- Jmabel 02:25, 21 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

  • [Redir]I looked it up, it appears he is. I'd mention him in Sigma Nu and make this one a redirect. - Hephaestos|§ 02:26, 21 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete it along with Sigma Nu which is a horrid mess of a listing of it's chapters and no more. Unless someone can come up with a dicent stub on the history of the place delete them both. --Starx 02:35, 21 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - I tried briefly to write a biog-stub, there's just not enough info online to do so. - TB 09:03, 21 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. I cleaned the Sigma Nu page a bit, but he is probably not important enough to get his own article. Marcika 02:05, May 23, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete - we don't create redirects for everyone of every officer of some campus fraternity. - Tεxτurε 02:46, 24 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, do not redirect. Wile E. Heresiarch 05:20, 24 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • [Keep] Do not delete. Rude people. Stephanie7
    • I'm not rude. I'm nice. And, I still say delete [Vote copied to below]. - Lucky 6.9 17:41, 26 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
    • She "love[s] love being an editor!", & sometimes spells her first name without the H; 2 of her 4 edits (made within a 9-minute period) are reflected in the entry that this one is subordinate to. Another is her user page, and the remaining one was reverted after 11 minutes by User:Camembert. Presumed sock-puppet or personal friend. --Jerzy(t) 00:08, 2004 May 27 (UTC)

  • [Keep]I am 100% in support of keeping Brad Beacham. He's the leader of a large non-profit organization, not an officer "of some campus fraternity." Cavaliercardinal 18:08 26 May 2004 (UTC)
    • First edit by this user; presumed sock-puppet or personal friend. --Jerzy(t) 00:08, 2004 May 27 (UTC)
  • Del, in absence of a more compelling reason to keep. --Jerzy(t) 00:08, 2004 May 27 (UTC)
  • BTW, I'm not Brad Beacham nor am I a close personal friend. If Sigma Nu is worth having a link, so should the person who basically oversees the national fraternity and its chapters. Cavaliercardinal 22:16 26 May 2004 (UTC)
    • This distant personal friend edited as an IP, 68.201.55.188; i see no reason to assume deception, but rather probably having forgotten their password, and trying to simulate a registered edit (without awareness of the difference between EDT and UTC).
