Norwegian navy[edit]

The independent Norwegian navy was founded april 12 1814. Norways union with Denmark ended in 1814. Then Norway was in union with Sweden until 1905 but these two countries never shared a navy. This is an important point in Norwegian military history espescially because the Norwegian armed forces started preparing for potential war with Sweden long before the union was abolished. The correct listing would therefore be that the Norwegian vessels before 1814 were listed under Denmark. Inge 12:21, 31 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"Battleships"[edit]

Hmm....far from everyone here are "Battleships". Would be better to rename the article "List of major warships of minor navies". --MoRsE 13:00, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Capital ships... not all included?[edit]

The concept of "capital ship" is not restricted to battleships, but includes other types as aircraft carriers. Either the list's name is incorrect, or other capital ships should be included. Thoughts? Regards, DPdH (talk) 23:51, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
