Incorrect links[edit]

The link to the High Rock district (which was one of the 21 districts prior to 1996) goes to a page about an imaginary "region of the fictional Empire of Tamriel in the Elder Scrolls universe."

Likely this is not intended.

Similarly, the link for the former Rock Sound district now links to a page about "a British magazine which champions alternative music" instead of to information about the Bahamas district.

Nice catch. Both are now fixed. jwillburtalk 21:08, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of Island Groupings?[edit]

Is the list of islands really needed? I know that I placed them there, but now that I think of it, it would make more sense for the list to be placed in the List of islands of the Bahamas article. So whos for it? Uniongreen113 22:08:44, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I came here looking for a list of the districts, not a list of the islands. There was once a list of districts here, but it was removed in 2011. Strange that no one protested. I will restore it and clean it up a bit.
There are now two lists of islands here, one with 19 and the other with 16. The List of islands of the Bahamas has hundreds, so why are these particular ones singled out? Do they serve any administrative function? If so, these lists should be combined. If not, they should both be removed. --Lasunncty (talk) 04:30, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

primary source?[edit]

I have been unable to find any primary source for which islands belong to which districts. I have found several maps which all have conflicting information. The map currently being used in this article simply cites "various Bahamian map sources", which is not helpful. Many of the references cited in the article are dead links. Does anyone know of a primary source that I may have missed? --Lasunncty (talk) 01:56, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Town Areas[edit]

Is there a listing of second-tier "town areas," anywhere, and are these not also classified as districts? There needs to be a better explanation of these town councils and their powers, as well as listings for them. --Criticalthinker (talk) 19:04, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
