Liquid web design was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made below the archived discussion rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was NO CONSENSUS so I merged with web design because it already had a section on it anyway. -- Graham ☺ | Talk 13:39, 13 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Looks like advertising, non-notable? — Bill 17:42, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • It's a common technique used all over in the web design industry. Do a google search. (not signed, but by anonymous User:66.150.7.162, author of the page)
I did; notable computer stuff tends to have many thousands of pages, not just 1600 or so, some of which are unrelated. If this were a Chilean bird, it would be notable at 1600. With computer stuff, I don't know. — Bill 19:26, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)
google "liquid design". It's a very common term with web designers. My vote is to merge with web design. - Lifefeed 21:38, Nov 1, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete or Transwiktionary. I don't care which. --Improv 13:37, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, wiktionary, or merge into some web design article, its not advertising. siroχo 08:41, Oct 31, 2004 (UTC)
  • Del. I consulted a pro who's never heard the term, is familiar with the practice, & says is not a good idea bcz compressing and stretching the content as described in the article makes it look like crap. The brilliant ideas of incompetant practitioners are only notable when sufficient numbers of them start landing in the hospital from carrying them out. --Jerzy(t) 20:20, 2004 Nov 3 (UTC)
