Setting[edit]

The beginning of the film is set in 3028 where the Drej destroy Earth because they knew the Titan's in Earth. Most of the action is set in 3044 after 3028.

Book adaptations[edit]

There's at least a couple of book spinoffs/adaptations of the movie- a novelization like you see for a lot of movies, and then there was "Akima's Story" (read that one way back when) and I think there was a "Cale's Story" too. Should these be mentioned in the article?

Looking back, I'm a little surprised that they released those backstory books, since the movie was a flop (it deserved more attention than it got if you ask me).

Fallout: New Vegas references this...[edit]

So, in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Gun Runners' Arsenal, the robot that sells the guns, Vendortron - in a terminal inside the Gun Runners' factory, it is suggested his name be changed to an actual name, "like Bob. We're not naming it Bob." Isn't this technically a reference to the planet in this movie? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Courella (talkcontribs) 10:00, 28 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you can find a reference saying so, put it on its page, not this one. ZarhanFastfire (talk) 00:09, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Don Bluth's last film as director[edit]

Considering Bluth's status as a director of animated films, it's a reasonably significant fact that this film is his last feature-length film to date as a director despite still being relatively active in animation. I have previously added this to the beginning paragraph, but it keeps getting removed because it's deemed “trivial”. Because of the above-mentioned fact about Bluth, I don't believe it's trivial at all and should be added to the beginning of the article. It is significant to his article only, it is irrelevant trivia that really isn't about this film. The fact that is was his last film does not impact anything about the creation of this film - he did nothing different because it was his last film, likely didn't even know it would be at the time of his involvement. I fail to see how noting it was his last film to date adds anything to this article. Now if the reason it was his last film is related to something that happened during the film's production and that is well sourced, it would be relevant, and also would be in the production section of the article, not just in the lead.
