Fandom[edit]

Again, fandom portions in articles are subjective and not objective at all, so I had to remove it. Unfortunately, fan speculation is not worth mentioning:

"Eiji's childlike, youthful personality is greatly overdone in fanfics, at times making him look as a ditzy, weak-willed little kid who practically needs Oishi's help even to tie his own tennis shoes, a sexually-naîve boy who reaches the extremes of stupidity, or a complete love slave who would even take physical/emotional/sexual abuse if it meant to keep Oishi (or Fuji) by his side. He's also a frequent target for a Mary Sue original character, who usually shows up as a girl who replaces Oishi as his doubles partner, despite the fact that Seigaku has separate teams for males and females and how it's remarked that acrobatic players like Eiji and Mukahi from Hyotei *need* less flashy players like Oishi and Oshitari to support them (the Sue is almost always skilled at acrobatic tennis).

Golden Pair is, undoubtly, one of the most popular fanon yaoi couples in the whole Prince of Tennis fandom, due to their almost unbreakable partnership, complete trust for each other, and Eiji's devotion to Oishi that can be easily seen as either friendly worry or a romantic crush. Eiji is very rarely paired up with someone else but Oishi, the second most common slash lover for him being his close friend and occasional doubles partner Fuji."

Question. Im kinda new and I was wondering if we were allowed to express our opinions about characters like "EIJI-SAMA IS HOT". (which is sooo true). Anyways, even if doesn't contribute I believe we should have sections for people just to express their feelings about the subject. setsuka13 22:31, 11 February 2007 (UTC)setsuka13[reply]

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. If you want to express your opinions about a character or subject, you should get a personal website and do so there. Nique talk 22:43, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Prince of tennis - eiji's acrobatic play.gif[edit]

Image:Prince of tennis - eiji's acrobatic play.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
