Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fieldwork

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  • Original research, possible copyvio. We really need an article about field work in archaeology, paleontology, anthropology; but this nice long text isn't it. -- Smerdis of Tlön 13:38, 9 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. Cleanup. Contains a lot of potentially useful information and shouldn't be deleted simply because some of it is under the guise of original research. 80.255 15:12, 9 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • I have changed the title to public participation in archeological field work seeing as this is what the article is actually about. Needs to be cleaned up to convert it from original research to an encyclopedic entry. mydogategodshat 09:44, 10 Apr 2004 (UTC)
    • I agree that it may be worthwhile for cleanup under this new, more descriptive title, assuming it isn't a copyvio. We may not want field work to redirect there, though. May try to make a stub instead of that redirect. Smerdis of Tlön

  • I am the original author. It is original research and I've been slowly editing it, but it needs help being transformed into an encyclopedia entry. Thanks for transfering it to a better page.
    • Good enough. I'm sure we all appreciate that you're letting us know it's your own work, rather than someone else's. -- Smerdis of Tlön
  • Is now a good stub. Keep -- Cyrius|&#9998 08:59, Apr 18, 2004 (UTC)
