Discussion[edit]

Dear Authors,

I think this entry should be titled "Muntz automobile" instead of the company name. It should be modified accordingly here and in the list of automobile maunfacturers as well.

I'm open to discussion, but I'm not sure I agree. As far as I can tell from the Internet links I listed at the bottom of the article, this was the name of the company. But if we can prove the name was something else, that's what it should be. But I think "Muntz automobile" would be a redirect at most, not an article title. The Ford article is under "Ford Motor Company", not Ford automobile. RivGuySC 03:27, 9 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Dear RivGuySc,

I can easily survive of any refusal of my proposal. It should be noted, however, that this kind of a question is not logically solved in the actual Wikipedia. Option 1 Madman Muntz and Muntz Jet could e handled in onyl one entry.

Option 2 Madman Muntz as a personality and Muntz cars can be handled separately. Unlike Ford Motor Company, however, the company name of Muntz cars is not commonly known, even the cars are mentioned under "Muntz Jet" as a brand.

Muntz remake or Phenocopy in France?[edit]

I'd say the French car: Citroën DS, introduced for sale October 5, 1955, Paris Motor Show, is extremely close in style to the Muntz cars, just they say it took 18 years of development having the DS produced. More Data? Thanks, regards. Salut +--Hijuecutivo (talk) 13:51, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
