Talk:Highway oasis

As User:Lpanglerob states below, this article gives the impression that Highway Oasises (Oasi?) are only found in Illinois. For example, Maryland has them and they call them "oasis".

If anyone can improve on this, please feel free to do so.

They're not really limited to Illinois... they're really a common fixture on most tollways between Chicago and New York, only they're usually called "Service Stations."

I'll make note.

Alright, how about we move all of the Illinois-centric material into either the existing Illinois State Toll Highway Authority article (which supervises the oases within Illinois), OR move all of the Illinois-centric material into an "Illinois Tollway Oasis" article? That would free this one up for a better edit.

Move complete. Illinois-centric material is now in a "Illinois Tollway Oasis" article, change this one as necessary. JohnDBuell 17:31, 8 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Merge to Rest area[edit]

This article should be merged to Rest area. Any objections? Quarl (talk) 2007-02-28 09:38Z
