Silversmith[edit]

CE was also a gifted silversmith. He created a famous silver and silver gilt chess set chosen by the international chess governing body, the FIDE, to commemorate the 1972 Fischer-Spassky world championship in Reykjavik. Untitled[edit]

This is only a tenative beginning of course, barely more than a stub. Hopefully a real Endfield scholar will be able to add some meat to this, I've just made a rough outline based on what I know, and intend to add a bit more later. --Chips Critic 05:01, 13 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
