Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?
The WikiProject Cities standards might help.

morris[edit]

Has anyone heard of a catholic private school called morris that was there in the 80s? i cant seem to find any information about it.. (Curefreak 21:16, 27 February 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Good question. Here it is: Highway 36 W Searcy, AR 72143 (501) 268-8145 Is that in Searcy proper? I'll add it to the Searcy article. Please feel free to write a full article for it. The Catholic Church might have sold the land, including a cemetery, around the school in 2000. The person at the number above confirmed that the school was still there, but it wasn't clear whether or not it was still in operation. Josh a brewer 17:10, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it was sold to a group called Mt Zion Ministries who established a church, school, and living quarters. They used to have a website but it is no longer around. Here is their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mt-Zion-Christian-Fellowship-Church-Camp/315512245210890 Skirts89 (talk) 10:52, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I went there as a child. It is not in Searcy proper, it is to the west towards Center Hill. I cannot find any information on it either. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.109.127.150 (talk) 09:06, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lead[edit]

I'm thinking about cleaning up the lead by removing this sentence: "It is the principal city of the Searcy, AR Micropolitan Statistical Area which encompasses all of White County." Because the first sentence calls Searcy the largest city in White County, this sentence seems pointless and rather technical.Josh a brewer 08:33, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
