Is it really possible to list every single school in every single state in the United States? Is it really possible to keep people from making red links to every single school so that others will come along and want to create articles about all of those nonnotable schools?   • Delete. However it seems that being able to quickly find information about schools in various states, countries, etc. is useful. Perhaps someone who knows this area might be able to provide external links to sources that do have such lists within appropriate articles or articles. That is, an article on [Schools in the USA] with a discussion of the USAmerican school system and links to lists that are regularly maintained would be far better for Wikipedia users than this would be. Wikipedia is not a directory, and should not be a directory of schools. But it is quite within our mandate to provide links from a general article to useful directories of schools.   • Delete. Better, more complete, and more up-to-date results will always be obtainable by using an appropriate search such as Anywho search for public schools in Washington [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 20:10, 29 Sep 2004 (UTC)
