Merger?[edit]

As it stands, this page ought to be called "Stamps of the New Hebrides." To start to make this a good article, ought we not merge it with Anglo-French Condominium? That article may sound generic, but it refers only to the New Hebrides. --Jfruh 06:11, 10 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

King of Spain?[edit]

The article notes that the head of the Native Court was appointed by the King of Spain (who was presumably considered neutral between the French and British?). But for most of the period of the Condominium, Spain wasn't a monarchy. Who appointed this judge during the other times? Franco? --Jfruh (talk) 19:38, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. Makes me wonder if that's made up.  Liam987(talk) 17:32, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I researched this and found that the President of the Joint Court (not the Native Court) was appointed by the King of Spain, but after the last President retired in 1939 they abolished the post. I have added that to the article.  Liam987(talk) 17:46, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistency[edit]

The article states that the Condominium had simultaneously no police force and two separate police forces. Furthermore, some paragraphs are rather redundant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Feraligatr221 (talkcontribs) 15:03, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
