Untitled[edit]

The entire article was found at http://digilander.libero.it/extrement/frame2.htm. --Alexs letterbox 06:14, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I have tracked copyvio to [1], s/he has committed vandalism in the past, but has also offered good contributions to music articles. This may be just a mistake.

The featured photo is not Jerry Clay, but Extreme Noise Terror's third bass player, Pete Nash (also the bass player with DOOM).

Genres[edit]

Why is Crustgrind not mentioned? -- =={667}== (talk) 22:14, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You mean Crustcore? I was going to ask the same thing. When Extreme Noise Terror formed in the mid 80's as far as I am aware there was no such thing as Grindcore or any thing with the word grind in. Thrash Metal had just evolved as a genre in metal by taking major influence from Hardcore Punk and ithin the punk community evolved crustcore / crust-punk from Anarcho-Punk & extreme Hardcore punk. Death Metal evolved from thrash in the metal scene and grindcore evolved from crustcore in the punk scene. The big difference between metal and punk is metal is professionally and talently played with lead break and other technical skills where as punk is amateur and play to a low unproffessional standard. The word Punkoriginally means 'dead wood'. in other words not of high quality = amateur. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.236.213.52 (talk) 18:48, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Major rewrite[edit]

I've just started a major re-write for this article... any help gratefully appreciated! Particularly useful would be an image (or images) and any sound files that aren't the KLF one (I'm a bit rubbish at stuff like that). Sorry that most of the sources are currently from only about fix or six places; I'm hoping to build up a basic skeleton of a biography and then flesh it out a bit later. Interviews for future use:

The order of bass players is wrong. Jerry Clay was the original one, followed by Messrs Gardener (note spelling), Nash (Pete) and Bailey in that order. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.43.50.247 (talk) 19:41, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough. I'm trying to find a source stating that Pete Nash was in the band... if you find one, please let me know, or we can't include that information in the article. Blackmetalbaz (talk) 12:04, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mr Nash is mentioned here: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Extreme+Noise+Terror —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.171.227.5 (talk) 19:25, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Death of Phil Vane?[edit]

Word on the street is that Phil Vane, one of the vocalists from ENT is dead. Don't know if it's true, but heres 2 links that seem to confirm it, plus the Metal Archives says he's dead also if you go to their ENT page.

The link from Anarcho-Punk.net says he died in his sleep last night. I don't know if any of this is legitimate, or a hoax. Shall I edit the page reflecting this news? Or shall I wait until a more reliable source comes out confirming this? -67.150.86.168 (talk) 03:27, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
