Magnezone[edit]

Magnezone's entry seems to have been altered incorrectly. It's name has been altered to "Magneawsome" -_-

Nice work[edit]

Hey, just wanted to say good job with fighting those vandals. I keep seeing your name pop up as I'm doing the same thing, so I know you're helping out.--Jonpro 05:46, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Warnings[edit]

Hi. Best to put warnings at the end of the page, not at the top as you did here, else you can't see which is the most recent (and it breaks formatting). Thanks – Gurch 11:52, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know that warnings should be put at the bottom of the page, but my patrolling tool was primarily designed for fr: where warnings should be put (unfortunately) on the top. I submitted a request to the tool developer for it.

You may want to find a different tool, in that case. There are many available, and that would have the added advantage of giving the edit summaries in English instead of French.

Is Gurchzilla a bot, or assisted by you? Thank you,  Pabix 11:56, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a bot, and it's not "assisted" by me, it is me, as it says at the top of its talk page. I just use a separate account for dealing with vandalism – Gurch 12:06, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can you explain this? What is "LiveRC"? dab (𒁳) 12:25, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User warnings[edit]

Please leave them at the bottom of the page and not at the top of talk pages to preserve chronological order. The top is also reserved for IP identification tags. --  Netsnipe  ►  19:11, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Modèle:Images[edit]

Hi Pabix, I tried to copy your very useful template: fr:Modèle:Images to the German and English wikkis to use it in the German and in the English article about the Second Battle of El Alamein. I would like to use the template as it is used in the Italian article about the battle. Unfortunately the template refuses to work on both wikkis. As I am no programmer and haven't good the slightest idea, why the template won't run, I would like to ask you, if you could be so kind to have a look and maybe try to fix it: on the German Wikki and on the English Wikki. The problem is that the javascript, which allows you to scroll through the images does not work- instead the images are just listed in a row from top to bottom: as seen here. Could you please help? Thank you very much un advance, --noclador 02:31, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the information- I told the German hjavascript people to go over the script and check that it will work in IE and Safari too. --noclador 13:49, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Live RC[edit]

Hi,

I can't use correctly Live RC on the english wikipedia (it work on the french wikipedia). I have created a monobook (User:Khayman/monobook.js and User:Khayman/monobook.css) with the code lines described on the documentation page of Live RC, but nothing. Do you know what I must do ?

I asked this question on the french wikipedia, but nobody know the answer. - Khayman (contact) 17:25, 22 January 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Khayman (talkcontribs)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
