Finally, i have arrived! I have been trying to figure out how to set up my user page, but been terrified that if i started something in the main section i would just be writting an encyclopedia article about myself. It took a trip to Jimbo's talk page and my own signature to get me here.

But, here i am.

I am a journalist living in northern Iowa(my newspaper). The job has been keeping me more than busy for about a year now and i hope i am moving forward in my career.

I have a degree in journalism from the University of Iowa, though several internships in college couldn't prepare me for the downward spiral the job market took shortly before i graduated.

My user name originates from being an Orthodox Christian catecumen - although i also believe we are all seekers, and always will be.

I have contributed to pages on Orthodox Christianity and Russian history.
