This page is still pretty POV - that people need security, comfort, and acknowledgement is far from established, and what these terms even mean in the context of human needs is far from defined. Further, none of the social needs result in diseases or the death of a person. -Seth Mahoney 18:09, 31 Mar 2004 (UTC)

While I think the whole page is pretty inadequate which is why I added the link to Maslow, I don't agree with what you have written. It is the needs that you have listed which seperate humans from animals, a human life means security comfort etc. If not then what are we? ping 07:40, 1 Apr 2004 (UTC)
