US or UK English?[edit]

It seems to me that UK English would be more appropriate for the topic. Any opinions/comments? -- Olve 10:12, 5 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Well, could be. I think it was me who recently made the article consistently US E., mostly just to keep things -eh- consistent. IMO, whatever E. variant will do. Generally I wouldn't say geographical location should determine this, but perhaps our being part of Europe (heh -- more or less, I guess) makes UK E. the most fitting choice? --Wernher 15:47, 5 Oct 2004 (UTC)
I wasn't thinking of Kristiansund's general location in Europe as much as local culture of the Kristiansund area. There are strong links to the UK (esp. England and Scotland) and a high number (I don't have exact statistics) of British immigrants occupy important positions in the local cultural life. Anyway — since you don't seem to object to the idea, I will start UKify the language now. :-) -- Olve 16:51, 5 Oct 2004 (UTC)
OK. BTW (OT), tnx for joining the 'NorWikipedian'-list -- we're now 2 more than the Swedes. :-) --Wernher 17:59, 5 Oct 2004 (UTC)
