According to [1], he was known as SPENCER COMPTON, not just Spencer... - John (still on weird computer with no idea of either tildas or straight lines)

That page looks a little inconsistent on which names were used. The current Duke is down as "PEREGRINE Andrew Morny", but his late father is down as "ANDREW ROBERT BUXTON", and I can't believe he used all three names at once. The 9th and 10th Dukes are also down as using all their names, so unless there's some weird Cavendish tradition for ridiculously unwieldy names I suspect it may be mistaken in this regard.
