Fukutsu (福津市, Fukutsu-shi) is a city located in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.[1] As of February 1, 2016, the city has an estimated population of 67,915 and a population density of 1,287.24 persons per km². The total area is 52.76 km².

The modern city of Fukutsu was established on January 24, 2005, from the merger of the towns of Fukuma and Tsuyazaki (both from Munakata District).
