The section "File formats supported" needs a huge update. Not only is it 10 years old, it also has no tech details that are needed to give way more insight into this very deficient and controversial area of Thunderbird. We need details on the specific mbox format (there are many, and Thunderbird only works properly with its own mbox variant). Regarding maildir, Thunderbird doesn't even fully implement "maildir lite", which is itself a subset of full maildir. HWSager (talk) 22:07, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The limitations section seems a bit redundant. There are vague mentions of "there may be limitations...". And then there are non-specific examples that mention more about the underlying OS than Thunderbird. Unless it's a specific to Thunderbird, is it really a limitation of Thunderbird?
