How heigh is the mast? It is surely not 450 metres high! The value 450 metres corresponds surely not to its height above ground level!

I checked and the 450m refers to its height above the Ordnance Survey datum (sea level). --Tony Sidaway|Talk 11:56, 1 Jun 2005 (UTC)

How heigh is the mast about ground level?

According to http://dspace.dial.pipex.com/town/pipexdsl/r/arar93/mds975/txmaps/northumberland.html the basement of the mast is 305 metres about sea level. Because the antennas are 450 metres about sea level, the mast is 145 metres high!

DSO Dates[edit]

Where did the exact date info for PP's DSO come from? The Whitehaven TX has only had its switch date confirmed in the last week or so and it's first to be switched this October. Also, the text claims PP will be last, but according to this page http://tx.mb21.co.uk/dso/index.asp Divis and Fremont Point are later. Chillysnow 00:27, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
