clerical title should be included, just like with Cardinals (Thomas Cardinal Wolsey). Gryffindor 19:02, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, that is an accusation which should have some back up, surely ? Otherwise it will just be conspiracy theory and gossip. Who felt it was Rafsanjani and who published it ? Was there evidence ? Refdoc 22:56, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Well, it is conspiracy theory and gossip, in my belief. But I thought that it's worth a mention, because it's very very popular here in Iran. I'm sure no investigation in that direction would have been possible, because of the then situation of affairs (a thorough investigation is still impossible even for simpler cases like that of Zahra Kazemi or the student protests of 1999). As for who published it, I'm sure many Iranian journalist writing from out of the country wrote about that, but they couldn't be trusted either, because they usually write on every rumor. Feel free to reword. Roozbeh 23:17, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Fair enough, what would be Iranian politics without conspiracy theories? ;-) But seriously, we include this here and yet I keep argueing on the Cpt Will Roger's article against K1's conspiracy theories. Hardly consistent. What would be in your view a good threshold for including conspiracy theories and gossip in encyclopaedic articles ? Refdoc 00:54, 24 Jul 2004 (UTC)

User 60.48.181.227 you have added this:

"He also received Electrical engineering PHD from sorbonne university through internet (Cyber degree)."

where/what is your source for this?Your own imagination? He died in 1981. How did an akhoond have access to 'internets' in 1970s?! —Preceding unsigned comment added by PrivateCitizen999999999 (talkcontribs) 10:20, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sources needed[edit]

There are a number of assertions of Beheshti's position which require sources. Additionally, some of the sections require improved structure, particularly 'epistemology' and 'anthropology'. Potentially it is worth deleting and re-starting the 'anthropology' section as it relates more to theology - discussion of the existence or otherwise of the human soul is not relevant to anthropology. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ConstitutionalLawyer (talkcontribs) 21:12, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
