I don't think it's proper to mark urolagnia as BDSM-related. While it can be practiced in that context, it is my understanding that the interest in urine is more commonly purely sensual than related to power or domination. It is common for partners engaging in this behavior to urinate on each other, as opposed to only one urinating on the other for the purpose of humiliation or degradation. I think that DSM-IV did classify urolagnia as a sadomasochistic behavior in the 1994 edition; I am not certain if more recent publications have revised this. (Can anyone clarify this for me?) In any case that classification might be offensive to those who practice urolagnia, and is at best somewhat misleading.

I agree. Watersports (Sex) would be much clearer.87.194.46.83 (talk) 06:21, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I also agree, Into BDSM urinate a slave is related to the power play The Dominator can pee for pleasure or to humiliate slave demonstrating possession. I think it is incorrect to associate watersports BDSM with Urolagnia.--Zingaradomme (talk) 20:35, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Water sports is a branch of BDSM involving urination. In this area, water sports is not exclusively about urinating on your partner or vise versa. Water sports is multifaceted in ways that many may not have previously considered. For example, water sports may be about control for some people. Control may be expressed via the dominant partner controlling (with consent from both or multiple people) when, where, and how much their submissive partner is allowed to urinate. Control relates to power in which the dominant partner may receive a sense of power and pleasure via control of their submissive partner and/or through urinating on, in, or near their partner.
