TERMS FOR MULTI-LICENSING MY WORK ON WIKIPEDIA

I have agreed to multi-license all my work on Wikipedia under the Creative Commons license. I do however reserve the right to rescind such license in any of the following events and/or under the conditions stated below. I also reserve myself the prerrogative of editing these terms in the future as I see fit, in order to accommodate new circumstances or improve clarity and effectiveness of said terms.

1. The material from Wikipedia is intended for free access and distribution. Hence, should it come to my knowledge that any third party, who came to have access to my work through the Creative Commons license, is charging for access to this material on their website(s) or any other medium, or selling it as part of any greater material (that has to be bought), either in part or in whole, this license will be rescinded immediatelly.

2. I am first and foremost part of the Wikipedia community. Therefore, if the Wikipedia board decides that Wikipedia material shall be released under the GFDL license only, this multi-license for my work will be automatically rescinded.

3. Although I have authorized the free distribution of my work under other licenses, I consider it a matter of good faith that all other websites or other media using Wikipedia material credit the Wikipedia website (NOT myself). I deem that important because, but not limited to, it could bring in new contributors. Thus, if it comes to my knowledge that any website(s) or other media that have had access to my work through this multi-license are not giving Wikipedia the due credit – or even worse, leading the reader to believe that the people responsible for the website(s) are the authors of the work, this license will be rescinded.

4. This multi-license if effective ex tunc (retroactive). Equally, the possible rescission of it shall also be retroactive, and any website(s) using my work through the multi-license permission will be required to remove it from their pages. In the case of other forms of distribution (e.g.: hard copies), those responsible shall be required to discontinue said distribution.

5. The eventual rescission of these terms will not take into consideration the ratio between how many websites or other media might be using my work under the multi-license and the number of websites or other media in breach of said terms. That means that it only takes one person's wrongdoing for the license to be revoked, and unfortunatelly all shall be affected.
